Black Fashion Week 2016
Creator of C. Marie designs, Delta Soror Cassie Marie Dodd is a new up and coming designer originally from Maywood, IL. Cassie recently graduated from Northern Illinois University receiving a Bachelor of Arts double majoring in Political Science with an emphasis in Public law, and Community Leadership and Civic Engagement with an emphasis in Advocacy. Cassie first began sewing and creating her own designs at her alma mater Proviso East High School where she made her first dress, and her love for gowns grew from there. The new designer has a unique eye for fashion. Her designs feature an array of bright colors and lots of glam. Cassie is the fashion industries, “someone you should know.”
