LaQuan Smith is the namesake brand of LaQuan Smith, a Brooklyn native who started his brand at 21. Laquan was born on August 30, 1988, and has been enthralled with fashion since high school. Inspired by his grandmother, a stitch and pattern maker, he received acclaim for his plethora of distinctive garments and details.
LaQuan Smith appeals to customers from Lagos, Nigeria to London, England and boasts celebrity clientele fashion trailblazers from Lady Gaga Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and Beyonce. Laquan’s appeal has reached some of the biggest corporations: Samsung, Microsoft, and Verizon, all tech giants who sought Smith-directed activations.
