Maxwell Osbourne is the creative designer behind the brand anOnlyChild. As a clothing craftsman, his brand exudes independence and individuality. Maxwell Osbourne, 40 was born in New York City to Jamaican immigrant parents. Maxwell’s career has spanned decades. Before anOnlyChild, he was most notably known for being the woven director at Sean John and as co-founder of the critically acclaimed fashion duo, Public School alongside Designer  Dao Yi Chow.

With anOnlyChild, Maxwell engages the woman who is fearless in her fashion choices. Made to look like you can be wearing someone else’s clothes, anOnlyChild breaks conventions by utilizing deadstock and recyclable materials. Each piece is enveloped to blend streetwear and couture uniquely. Maxwell’s brand Public School received the foundation’s Swarovski Menswear Award and won the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2013. The following year,  his brand Public School was named Menswear Designer of the Year at the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards.
