On Dec 10th, 2022. Michelle’s House of Design embraced the runway to help support the mission of the local Richton Park Chapter of the men of Kappa Alpha Psi. The Fraternity is known for raising funds for the Kappa Leagues, a scholarship and mentorship for young men in black and brown communities.
Michelle Erving is a self-taught designer, who started creating at the age of eleven. she has been in business for over 45yrs. Within those years she started dressmaking and tailoring at Malcolm X College and has taught at many establishments throughout her career. She professionally started Michelle’s House of Design in 1985. Since then she has produced and participated in many fashion shows in and out of state. Michelle believes God has kept her every step of the way even her fashion business.
