Black Fashion Week 2017
Patricia Dobine Brewer has been sewing since the tender age of 13. Without taking classes, Patricia learned the basics from her mom and then gained more skills from her older sister and aunt. She has sewn everything from curtains to wedding gowns. After working 14 years, she retired from her career to take care of her husband who was overcoming multiple sclerosis. She then commenced her brand UN-TIE in 2012.
For supplemental income she was inspired from watching Family Feud hosted by Steve Harvey to create her brand. Her admiration of Steve’s neck ties, encouraged her to start her current brand the UN-TIE and the rest is history.
