Do you know which black designer in Chicago has over 35 years as one of the top black bridal designers in the country?

Bryan K Osburn is one Chicago designer whose name you don’t want to forget. Bryan is a native of Chicago who studied fashion in the windy city prior to moving to New York to work on 7th Ave in the bridal district on Broadway in the 1980s and 90s.

His first job in the bridal industry was with bridal designer and tycoon Vera Wang. Shortly after, he worked for bridal designers Paula Varsalona, Galina, Jim Hjelm, Lazaro, and Alvina Valenta.

After such an extensive career working for others in NYC, Bryan channeled his talent to create his own custom designs for notable celebrities such as Miss USA-Kenya Moore, Natalie Cole, Phyliss Hyman, Pattie LaBelle, and Diana Ross to name a few. After traveling the states and beyond, working in France and later in Charlotte North Carolina, he returned to the windy city in 2008 creating fabulous garments under his brand name Bryan K Osburn. Today he designs for many special occasions including weddings, proms, and eveningwear attire around the windy city and abroad.
