Akese Stylelines is a unique brand that is focused in designing and making custom handmade and ready to wear clothing and accessories by incorporating an African Print with Western fabrics to create unique classy pieces. The Creative Designer behind the Collection is Ghanaian born Jennifer Akese Burney.
she started sketching clothes at a very tender age of about 7, and grew fond of clothes and was especially fascinated by the way the pieces of fabrics came together to create one piece of item. She has a BA in Industrial Arts Fashion Design and now resides in Chicago with her husband and two children. she loves to play with and create textures, architecture bold silhouettes and one of a kind pieces. Her aspirations come from her home country, upbringing, and the rich culture she has embraced around her over the years.
Akese Stylelines currently specializes in wedding gowns ,evening gowns, corporate wear casual wear, club wear ,swim, beachwear,children clothing, accessories such as purses, clutch,African beaded necklaces earrings and hair pieces
