Ramal Shine owner of Life In Clothes to Return to the Black Fashion Week USA Lifestyle Runway show on Sunday, February 26th, 2017
Chicago designer Ramal Shine has always had an interest in art since early childhood. The creativity once lapped into a more creative fashion design at the age of 12, from an 8th grade art project. From free styling a design which grabbed much attention during an 8th grade field trip, Ramal gained more interest into not only making clothes, but having an individual style of creativity and putting those creations into fashion designs. Being more of a hobby throughout the high school years, that one grammar school design had then become a worldwide selling sensation in many stores across the country without the awareness of designer Ramal Shine. After the teaching of self, of becoming a tailor and soon after turning the hobby into a profession, Ramal then and now continues to work into creating and building a brand of statement apparel called LIC, Life in Clothes. As well as the RSDC. Developing the style from the point LIC was no longer a hobby and now a portfolio has been in the development process from time to come. His portfolio contains freestyles and 1 of 1 designs.
Connect with him on Sunday February 26th at the DuSable Museum of African American History.
